The ground-breaking debut full length of Italy’s most respected Metal band of all times finally back to light on LP after more than 3 decades. Originally released in 1985 and never repressed on vinyl since then, here it comes in a new edition, specially remastered from 1st generation sources provided by the band and re-packaged in a thick gatefold sleeve with unseen photos and lyrics (in English + the original early drafts typed in Italian).

The 2nd full length of Italy’s Metal masters BULLDOZER!  Originally released in 1986 and never repressed on LP for 30 years, here it finally comes in a new edition specially remastered for vinyl directly from the studio reels provided by the band and re-packaged in a gatefold sleeve with unreleased photos and lyrics (scans of the original typed drafts). “The final separation” is a devastating follow-up to their cult debut “The day of wrath” that adds a strong Speed/Thrash Metal vibe to their well-tested Black Metal meets dirty R’n’R tinged aggression!

 

All in all, this is another good confirm of the goodness of the Bulldozer’s sound back in the 80s and it’s good to recommend it to the old school fans of this lethal black/speed combination. For all its length, the nastiness of the speed metal and the brutal influences of bands like VENOM and MOTÖRHEAD collide to create another high impact effort, in pure 80s style!! What’s brewing in FOAD‘s unstoppable cauldron of death for this month? And as we also did with “IX” and “Neurodeliri” we prepared some limited highly collectable Japanese editions to celebrate the solid fan-base that the Bulls always had in the land of the rising sun. Straight from the hell of Belo Horizonte/Brazil and the merciless savagery of that city’s early Metal scene, MUTILATOR stands as one of the rawest and most uncompromised offerings of true Brazilian Death-Thrashing brutality.  This record collects all the existing recordings featuring Silvio SDN on vocals (except the “Warfare Noise 1” comp. trax that have been already reissued by other labels): so you get the “Blood Storm / Grave Desecration” demo 1986, an insanely fast and raw rehearsal 1986 that the band had recorded as bonus on the cassette that they exclusively sent to Jon Metalion for being reviewed on Slayer Mag and a bonus CD with 3 different live sets from that period (“Festival Da Morte” / “Carioca Club” / “Slaughter Fest”) for a total of 32 bloody tracks mastered from the best sounding sources in existence (forget the bootlegs that have circulated in the last years).

Another cult Demo finally back to light on vinyl with a deserved “FOAD treatment” of dedication and quality… US Atrocity‘s “Mangled” demotape (1988) is hands down one of the best recordings in the band’s entire discography. High speed, rotten-to-the-core grinding Death Metal delivered with inhuman fury and brutality! The 7 tracks forming this ominous session were a solid foretaste of what they later delivered with their “Hatred birth” EP and the bulldozing debut full length “Infected“.

NAPALM “1984-1986” casewrapped LP (F.O.A.D. 102)

Hailing from Sapporo City, Japan, NAPALM stands as one of the oldest and rawest Hardcore bands ever spawned from that area. For the times they started they were incredibly fast, furious and aggressive. For us at FOAD this is a typical case of undiscovered HC treasure and we are honoured to make it available on vinyl for the very first time, in a super deluxe edition with hardbound case-wrapped cover (taking inspiration from the legendary Selfish Records LPs!), extra OBI strip and insert loaded with photos, original cassette artworks and liner notes.

They used to describe themselves as “JAPANESE AUTHENTIC HARDCORE PUNK“, their sound was an insanely distorted yet powerful wall of noisy HC.. even if from a different area – they can remind stuff like KURO, GAI, L.S.D. and 1982-84 era THE COMES. Straight from the record’s insert: the band sprinkled the noise and speed of angry Hardcore waves starting in 1983 and becoming one of the earliest Hardcore Punk bands that came from Sapporo City. They were active until 1986. As reported on a previous cassette version: “The live tracks included here were recorded at a show they played, on that show the crowd was so frightened and paralized by fear that one person fainted, so those tracks can be considered NAPALM’s “masterpiece” and memories.

This LP collects all the band’s existing recordings starting from the classic “Detestable deed” demo (all songs are included here except a spoken outro at the end of A-side on the cassette), the ultra-rare “Sapporo Punk Omnibus” comp. trax and the above mentioned live footage!

Years and years in the making (more than 5!), here it finally comes.. the most exhaustive SCHIZO demo collection you can dream about. One LP, one 7″ and one CD all in one package, housed in a thick gatefold sleeve with a poster-sized foldout insert full of rare photos and ‘zine excerpts… a true work of heart just like every FOAD release! This collection compiles all the band’s recordings before their killer “Main frame collapse” debut full length (1989), 20 songs of what was with no doubt one of the most deranged, fast and original Extreme Metal acts in the 80s Italian panorama. If you also count in the early stuff by their brothers-in-mayhem Necrodeath, these were the first examples of hyper-speed driven thrashin’ Death Metal from Italy, that in more simple words equals “the first blast beats to ever land on the Italian Metal territories“. Here you get their complete “T.T.U.T.T.K. [Thrash The Unthrashable – Thrash To Kill]” – Demo 1985, “TOTAL SCHIZOPHRENIA” – Demo 1986, “M.F.C. Two new F.O.A.D. releases for April… you knew we wouldn’t have missed the appointment! And once again this is a very special release party for us, due to two important reasons: 1) we’re finally announcing the first ever Japanese Hardcore band on FOAD (more will follow, it’s a promise!), and it’s an immense honour as we’re total maniacs and collectors of the hundreds of rare Rising Sun HC treasures… for some of us a true obsession! 2) After a very long time we are finally bringing to light the complete Demo collection of a Sicilian extreme Metal legend that we totally respect and support since the early days.
