Posted in Nausea, Plutocracy, Terrorizer (L.A.) on January 29th, 2026 by foadmaster2022

Welcome to a new series of F.O.A.D. releases, the first of 2026. Unfortunately, we had to skip a month and start again from here due to significant delays in delivery from the printing plant for Gore Beyond Necropsy and Sore Throat generated by Xmas congestion… but that’s the way it is and there’s not much we can do about it. The important thing is that you have received your orders and enjoyed our year-end noisy atrocities! To kick off 2026 in the best possible way, we thought we’d assault you right away with a tornado of sonic brutality of the most ballistic and ferocious kind… The theme for this month is pioneering Californian grindcore, with four releases by three titans in the genre: NAUSEA LA, PLUTOCRACY, and TERRORIZER LA.  For Oscar Garcia’s NAUSEA, we are pleased to announce the completion of two anthologies (both on vinyl and CD) that we have assembled over the course of more than 10 years of feverish work, reconstructing their non-album recordings from 1987-1992 and 1998-2006.  In addition to these, and staying within the same family, given the high demand we have decided to release the fifth reissue of a true F.O.A.D. classic, the TERRORIZER compilation “Before the Downfall” on double LP+CD, this time with purple artwork (are you collecting them all?). And finally, another legend of the 90s grind/powerviolence scene: PLUTOCRACY, with the reissue of their rare 12“ entitled ”Off the pigs“. A t-shirt bundle is also available for them.

So, to sum up: NAUSEA ”World struggle – Extended edition” (Complete demos and rehearsals 1987-1992) 2xLP+7“ and 2xCD digipack, NAUSEA ”Exile to confinement – The forgotten demo years collection” 2xLP and 2xCD digipack, PLUTOCRACY “Off the pigs” LP and TERRORIZER “Before the downfall” 2xLP+CD are all available on pre-order at www.scareystore.com  As usual, we have made several discounted bundle offers for those who want to get multiple releases together.  To conclude, our usual recommendations: we advise you not to wait too long if you want to get your hands on the limited editions (splatter/marble). Take last month as an example: two out of 3 are already sold out… And one last thing: please don’t bombard us with unnecessary requests such as substitutions in orders already placed, address changes, payment changes – all this delays our daily work, delays the shipments themselves, and causes us a lot of stress. Once an order is placed, be patient and you will receive everything as soon as possible.

More in details about this month’s blasting artillery:

NAUSEA “World struggle – Extended edition” (Complete demos and rehearsals 1987-1992) gatefold double LP+7″ and double CD digipack (F.O.A.D. 388)

PLUTOCRACY “Off the pigs” LP (F.O.A.D. 406)

Formed in 1988 in Redwood City, California, Plutocracy are hands down one of the most iconic and unique names in West Coast powerviolence. Multi-vocals, angular riffing, neck-breaking tempo changes, rap inserts, noise grafts. All perfectly stitched together on a top tier grinding PowerViolence backbone. Recorded in 2010 and  originally released in a scarcely circulated pressing very sought after by collectors, “Off the Pigs” is the last studio effort from this legendary unit, a bloodcurdling scream of street life, anti-authoritarian mindset and unrest mentality. Plutocracy defy the strictest definitions, a one-of-a-kind band that is impossible to pigeonhole, standing in the same category as Spazz, Crom, Agents Of Satan and No Le$$. This new edition of “Off the Pigs” is accompanied by a very limited t-shirt.

BULLDOZER “The exorcism: demo ’84” & NAUSEA “World struggle: demos ’88/’92” digipack CD editions OUT NOW !!

Posted in Bulldozer, Nausea, Releases on May 14th, 2014 by foadmaster2022

After the great success of the first pressings on vinyl, F.O.A.D. Records is proud to satisfy the huge request and deliver these highly awaited deluxe digipack editions of two of its most acclaimed releases : BULLDOZERThe exorcism: demo ’84” and NAUSEAWorld struggle: demos ’88/’92”. The usual F.O.A.D. treatment is strong as ever, so expect booklets filled with photos and liner notes and an over the top audio mastering for the best sounding experience!

BULLDOZER – The Exorcism: demo 1984 + Fallen Angel 7″

The ultra-fucking-rare BULLDOZER Demotape 1984 with kult “Fallen angel” 7″ added as bonus. One of the most incredible findings in FOAD‘s hunting career: only 3 copies of this demo exist, one was sent to Roadrunner, one to King Diamond and one was recently exhumed in AC Wild’s basement and delivered to us for a top quality treatment. This is the recording that got Bulldozer signed to Roadrunner in 1984 and it sounds killer… different and rawer versions of classics ended on their debut slasher “The day of wrath”. Dark, demonical Black/Speed Metal from the most savage guts of Italy’s early 80s Metal inferno, for anyone that worships the early releases from Venom, Bathory and Possessed, plus the “Fallen angel” session adds that Motörhead touch making this an instant masterpiece of rawness and sheer power. Check out how AC Wild introduced the unreleased Demo recordings: “This tape was sent to Roadrunner and Roadrunner signed us in 1984. It was also submitted to King Diamond to ask if he was interested in being the producer of our album but he refused saying that this stuff sounded “too Punk”!! Comes in a stunning deluxe digipack CD with 11 page booklet filled with rare/unreleased photos, alternate artworks and liner-notes.

NAUSEA – World struggle: demos 1988 / 1992 + bonus tracks

This is pure old school Grindcore and you can’t get closer to TERRORIZER‘s legendary album “World downfall“, in fact a third of the songs of Terrorizer’s “World downfall” were actually NAUSEA material, the previous band of vocalist Oscar Garcia. Born from the ashes of MAJESTY, they were not a side project of Terrorizer (as many think incorrectly), but a definite band, even surviving the latter’s break up in 1988. Oscar Garcia even used some Nausea songs to complete the posthumous Terrorizer record (‘Corporation Pull-in’, ‘Need to Live’, ‘Condemned System’ and the title track ‘World Downfall’ that was in origin a Majesty song)! On this new CD edition you will find the songs featured on the LP one,  so the band’s classic “Psychological conflict” EP (1990), the obscure and under-rated “Tumor” Demo (1992) and the entire split Demo with TERRORIZER (1988) bootlegged on vinyl by Headache Rec in the early 90s, plus six raw yet powerful sounding tunes from three different rehearsal recordings straight from 1987. These bonus tracks are exclusive for this digipack CD repress and will square the circle of the story of a band the helped to define a full genre! This is raw, doomy and corrosive death metal tinged GRIND with whirlwind blast beats and those incredible moshing riffs that became so influential when World Downfall gained its deserved success!

CRIPPLE BASTARDS “Misantropo a senso unico” redux edition CD and NAUSEA “World struggle” gatefold LP out NOW!

Posted in Cripple Bastards, Events, Nausea on September 24th, 2013 by foadmaster2022

Two cornerstones of mind blowing Grindcore finally out on FOAD Records! The long awaited redux edition of CRIPPLE BASTARDS‘ classic album “Misantropo A Senso Unico” and NAUSEA L.A. early recordings collection “World Struggle : Demos 1988-1992” LP and  are now up for orders!

First off we want to thank everyone who showed up at Rock Hard Festival in Milan. The gig was fantastic and legendary bands like Sodom, Tankard, Asphyx and Cripple Bastards lived up to their glory. Talking about Cripple Bastards, the show was the selected event to premiere the REDUX edition of their second album and one of  the fans’ faves : “Misantropo a Senso Unico” (2000).

This re-mastered version has been in the works for about three years and the first batch of copies was blown away in one evening! So, one week after the expected release date we have finally received the remaining part of this new pressing and it’s now available and up for sale! “Misantropo A Senso Unico” REDUX features the amazing remastaring by Toxic Basement Studio and a never released track composed by Alberto The Crippler and Walter Dr Tomas during the original recording sessions of the album. That song, called “Separati Dal Contagio” has been dug out from the archives and enriched by the contribution of the cult Italian inspired Prog/Horror rock maniacs ANIMA MORTE from Sweden. The result is almost a new album and a must listen for old and new enthusiasts of one of the most extreme (if not THE most extreme) album ever recorded in Italy.

UK’s Terrorizer Mag quoted it as nr. 6th of the most essential Grindcore albums of all times. S.O.D. / Brutal Truth / Hemlock / Anthrax / Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker about this album: “exquisitely insane hardcore grind that reminds me of why I got into all this shit back in the late Eighties”. Housed in an elegant digipack with 20 page booklet including all lyrics, liner notes and English translations, wrapped in an external slipcase. The definitive unbeatable re-edition of this album, it can’t sound and look better than this!
